Hi,
Regarding blog article layouts, I expected the 'read more link' element to give full control over the link management, both for styling and the button text itself.
However, the link text can only be modified via Joomla's language override. This creates a limitation if I want to have different buttons with different link texts, since there is only a single global constant for the 'read more' string.

Do you think it is possible to implement full control over the 'Read more link' button?

Thanks,
Lorenzo

You can construct a custom link of your own style instead of the Read More button - choose the raw link option on the field options tab

then customise the output

Review EasyLayouts. If you use EasyLayouts please post a rating and a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

The issue remains at two levels:

- The destination URL appears on the button even without specifying any URL, but the link is not active (which makes sense, given that no parameter was set in the href attribute, resulting in no active link).
- Since each button has a different URL, how should this be handled with the solution you provided?

For your information, the "Read More" link and "Read More with Title" options in the menu item are set to "Hide".
